Cindy Sellers joined Bass, Berry & Sims as a Member in January 2006.  Cindy has extensive experience in the areas of finance and real estate.  She has represented clients in sophisticated real estate and financial transactions including multi-million dollar syndicated credit facilities and complex real estate development and construction loans.  Her practice also includes restructuring of loan transactions, loan workouts and foreclosures.  Her real estate practice includes advising clients in connection with acquisitions, dispositions and lease negotiations.

Prior to joining the firm, Cindy was a member of Farris, Warfield & Kanaday, which is now Stites & Harbison, and served as service group leader of its Nashville finance and real estate group.  After practicing there for 19 years, Cindy joined the in-house legal staff of Bank of America as assistant general counsel in 2004.  At Bank of America, Cindy was responsible for supporting Tennessee, Georgia and the Northeast in all aspects of real estate lending and mezzanine financing.

Originally from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Cindy graduated from Meredith College in 1982 and received her law degree from University of Tennessee College of Law in 1985.  Cindy is a fellow of the Nashville Bar Foundation and is listed in The Best Lawyers in America®, Chambers USA and the Nashville Business Journal's Best of the Bar.  She is on the Alumni Advisory Council of the University of Tennessee College of Law and is a past board member of Mid-South Commercial Law Institute, Nashville City Club and FirstSteps.
