Chris Bowles joined Bass, Berry & Sims in 2008 as an associate in the firm's Litigation and Environmental Practices.
Chris received his J.D. in 2008 from Vanderbilt University Law School, where he was editor-in-chief and co-founder of the Environmental Law and Policy Annual Review. Chris was the recipient of the Bennett Douglas Bell Memorial Award, awarded to the graduating student “who is not only well versed in the law, but also embodies the highest conception of the ethics of the profession.” Chris also earned Vanderbilt Scholastic Excellence Awards in Constitutional Law of Crime and Punishment, Environmental Law and Professional Responsibility. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 2003 with a B.A. in music performance.
Chris and his wife, Melissa, live in Nashville.
