Fall Orientation

A career at Bass, Berry & Sims begins with a four-day orientation in our Nashville office beginning the day after Labor Day.   All new associates participate in a comprehensive introduction to our firm and its organizational structure, conflicts and ethics and professional skills training.  Sessions are led by our attorneys and professional staff as part of our commitment to ongoing associate development.  The week is capped off by a firmwide dinner to give all attorneys the opportunity to meet our new associate class.

Our mentoring program is designed to integrate new associates into our firm and to serve as a sounding board for advice and counsel.  We assign each new associate to a supervising attorney, a partner who is responsible for overseeing the associate's work allocation as well as his or her professional development.  Each new associate is also assigned an associate mentor to help the new associate assimilate into our firm and his or her practice area.

Our fall orientation is an integral part of our firmwide Professional Development program.
