Bass, Berry & Sims Managing Partner Keith Simmons Elected to Lex Mundi Board of Directors
Nashville, Tenn., November 6, 2008 – Keith Simmons, managing partner at Bass, Berry & Sims, has been elected to the Board of Directors of Lex Mundi, the world's leading association of independent law firms. He will serve a four-year term. The election took place during the Lex Mundi 2008 Annual Meeting in Buenos Aires.
Simmons has been managing partner and chair of Bass, Berry & Sims’ management committee for 13 years. Before becoming managing partner, Simmons’ practice specialty was public finance. Active in community affairs, he is the founding president of the Nashville Public Library Foundation and a current board member. He also serves on the boards of Cumberland Region Tomorrow, Downtown Rotary and the Urban Libraries Council. Simmons is a graduate of Vanderbilt Law School.
