Memphis, Tenn., March 23, 2006 - Bass, Berry & Sims PLC is pleased to announce that William Sherman Morris and T. Gaillard (Gil) Uhlhorn have joined the Memphis office.
William Morris is rejoining Bass, Berry & Sims after having practiced as senior corporate counsel at Smith & Nephew, Inc., a medical device company. Prior to his first employment with Bass, Berry & Sims, he served as an attorney advisor with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in New Orleans. William received his law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law in 2001. He is a member of the Memphis, Birmingham and American Bar Associations.
Gil Uhlhorn joins the firm after practicing Commercial Real Estate at Glanker Brown, PLLC in Memphis. Gil received his law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2000. He currently serves on the board of Landmark Community Bank and was a founding board member of Mpact Memphis, a group of emerging community leaders with a common goal of improving the city of Memphis. He is a member of the Memphis, Tennessee and American Bar Associations.
