Barfield, King, Denton and Jasper Article on NHC Nursing Home Fire Republished in Defense Law Journal, Cited Before the U.S. Supreme Court
“Providing a Safe Harbor for Those Who Play by the Rules: The Case for a Strong Regulatory Compliance Defense,” has been republished in the August 2009 edition of Defense Law Journal.
The article, authored by Richards C. Ausness of the University of Kentucky and by H. Lee Barfield, David A. King, Joshua R. Denton and Stephen J. Jasper, attorneys at Bass, Berry & Sims PLC, was originally published in the Utah Law Review, and has been cited in an amicus brief by DRI - The Voice of the Defense Bar before the U. S. Supreme Court in Ford Motor Co. v. Buell-Wilson (submitted on Oct. 8, 2009).
