Amanda Elliott Stanley joined the firm in April of 2005 as an associate in the firm’s Commercial Transactions and Real Estate Practice Area. Amanda’s practice includes commercial lending, secured transactions and real estate. She focuses mainly on financing and real estate transactions, including asset-based financing, syndicated revolving credit and term loan facilities, subordinated loans, construction loans and work-outs and restructures of credit facilities. Previously, Amanda practiced at Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP in Washington, DC and Atlanta, Georgia, representing banks and financial institutions in commercial lending, financial restructuring transactions and other corporate finance transactions.
Amanda graduated, with distinction, from the Emory University School of Law in 2000 and was awarded Order of the Coif. While at Emory, Amanda was the associate editor and a member of the Emory Law Journal. In addition, she has a Master of Public Health from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University, and received her B.A. degree cum laude in government from Georgetown University in 1997.
Amanda also enjoys spending time with her husband, Jon, and their dogs. She is admitted to practice in Georgia and the District of Columbia.
