Amanda Robins Poe joined Bass, Berry & Sims PLC in September 2004 as an associate in the firm's Corporate and Securities Practice. Amanda’s practice includes public equity and debt offerings representing both companies and underwriters, Securities and Exchange Commission regulatory matters, private placements, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate governance matters. Amanda also has regulatory audit experience and has conducted regulatory audits of the New York Stock Exchange.

As a member of the firm’s Real Estate Capital Markets practice group, Amanda routinely advises publicly-traded and non-traded real estate investment trusts (REITs) on REIT matters, capital restructuring transactions, corporate governance, public offerings and ongoing public company disclosure.

Amanda received her J.D. summa cum laude in May 2004 from the University of Mississippi School of Law. In addition to being the school of law's top graduate, she was also a James O. Eastland Scholar, a member of Phi Delta Phi and a member of the Mississippi Law Journal. Amanda graduated summa cum laude from the University of Mississippi in 2001 with a B.B.A. in managerial finance and a minor in English. Additionally, Amanda was a Hearin-Hess Business Scholar, a member of Phi Eta Sigma and a graduate of the esteemed Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College.

Amanda is active in her church and in the community and currently serves on the Foster Care Review Board of the Juvenile Court of Shelby County, a state-mandated oversight board of child welfare workers and court officials.
