Amanda Robins Poe joined Bass, Berry & Sims PLC in September 2004 as an associate in the firm's Corporate and Securities Practice. Amanda’s practice includes public equity and debt offerings representing both companies and underwriters, Securities and Exchange Commission regulatory matters, private placements, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate governance matters. Amanda also has regulatory audit experience and serves on the firm’s team conducting regulatory audits of the New York Stock Exchange.
Amanda received her J.D. summa cum laude in May 2004 from the University of Mississippi School of Law. In addition to being the School of Law's top graduate, she was also a James O. Eastland Scholar, a member of Phi Delta Phi and a member of the Mississippi Law Journal.
A native of Collierville, Tennessee, Amanda graduated summa cum laude from the University of Mississippi in 2001 with a B.B.A. in managerial finance and a minor in English. Additionally, Amanda was a Hearin-Hess Business Scholar, a member of Phi Eta Sigma and a graduate of the esteemed Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College.
