Andrea Orr joined Bass, Berry & Sims in September of 2005 as an associate in the firm's Corporate and Securities Practice Area. A native of Fairview, Tennessee, Andrea graduated summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee in 2002 with a B.A. in honors political science. In 2005, she graduated cum laude from Wake Forest University School of Law and was elected to the Order of the Coif.
During law school, Andrea was a Faculty Scholar and member of the Moot Court Board, Trial Bar and Law Review. Andrea also served as a Writing Fellow and Teaching Assistant for the Legal Research and Writing Department. She is the author of "To Pay or Not to Pay: Judicial Responses to Treating Physicians' Demand for "Reasonable" Witness Fees," 40 Wake Forest Law Review 389 (2005), which received the James F. Hoge Memorial Award for best student writing.
