Andy McQueen joined Bass, Berry & Sims PLC in 2006 as an associate in the firm's Corporate and Securities Practice Area. Andy's practice includes mergers and acquisitions of public and private companies, public offerings of equity and debt securities, structuring of joint ventures and other strategic relationships and a variety of corporate and securities law matters, including corporate governance, public company disclosure and other SEC regulatory matters.
Andy previously practiced with the firm as an associate from 2001 to 2004. From 2004 to 2006, Andy served as Assistant General Counsel for Spheris Inc., a leading global provider of medical transcription technology and services.
Andy received his law degree from the University of Texas in 2001. He received his B.S. in accounting, magna cum laude, from Lipscomb University in 1995. Prior to attending law school, he was a tax consultant with Ernst & Young, LLP.
