Ashleigh Harb focuses her practice on the following areas:

Government Advocacy: Ashleigh assists in representing clients in their business relationships with the state government, from the General Assembly to the many departments, agencies, boards and commissions. Ashleigh’s government relations work includes assistance with the representation of Brown-Forman Beverage Company (Jack Daniel Distillery) and both proprietary and nonprofit educational institutions.

Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices: Ashleigh is assisting in the defense of a prescription pharmaceutical product.

Products Liability: Ashleigh assisted in the defense of an infant formula manufacturer. She has experience in dispositive motions related to products liability lawsuits.

Representative Matters include:
  • FCRA litigation. Ashleigh is assisting in the factual investigation and defense of a putative class action based on alleged violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
  • Food product litigation. Ashleigh assisted in the defense of an infant formula manufacturer.
  • Pharmaceutical litigation. Ashleigh is assisting in the defense of a prescription pharmaceutical product.
  • Medical malpractice litigation. Ashleigh is representing physicians in medical malpractice lawsuits.
  • Personal injury litigation. Ashleigh successfully defended a personal injury case and won a judgment for the Defendant, AT&T, Inc.
  • Contract litigation. Ashleigh has significant experience in complex commercial disputes including representing major health care insurers.

Ashleigh is originally from Knoxville, Tennessee. While in college she was a member of the Wake Forest Dance Company - performing and choreographing both modern and jazz dance. She maintains an avid interest in both dance and the arts. In 2003, she studied French politics, literature and theatre in Paris, France and is conversational in French. Ashleigh interned in Washington, D.C. for Majority Leader Bill Frist in 2003. Her other interests include politics, traveling and human rights. She has traveled to Cambodia and the Philippines with the International Justice Mission, a human rights organization that secures justice for victims of slavery, sexual exploitation and other forms of violent oppression.
